I'm considering swapping my Nick Walker "Ghetto Ghost" for an U/S Banksy. I am looking for a Banksy Napalm, I Fought the Law, CND and possibly other older Banksy prints.
The Ghetto Ghost is #5 out an edition 30. This one was purchased from Randall Scott Gallery. It is hand painted acrylic on recycled archival paper. There is an artist logo stamp and edition number on front and it its titled, signed and dated 2007 on the reverse. I am the original owner and have full provenance. The piece is in mint condition and will be shipped flat in its original packaging.

I'm just hoping the seller didn't flake on mine - he's been on the forum recently (today) and hasn't responded to my emails for the past couple of days - all I need is his paypal address - I trust it will all work out for me though as he seems to be a well respected member of the community and I suspect is a stand-up guy.

I think a lot of us are tempted to move some of Nick's work on because of the crazy pieces currently being quoted. £8.5K would definitely tempt me to take a punt as would clear most of my art related debts.
IMHO I cannot see these prices holding for long for simple reason that at these levels the market is at risk of being swamped by people trying to cash in, supply and demand. That said early Ghetto Ghosts are all classics and mine is going to stay on the wall although open to offers for Graffiti World box version.

Nick Walker "Ghetto Ghost" Swap, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Feb 14, 2008 14:10:07 GMT 1, I'm sad to say, it looks like I won't be getting either of the two ghetto ghosts I purchased off Auction Saboteur - seller told me he's NOT backing out and the last I heard from him was nearly a week ago - completely unresponsive to my emails and pm's and he's been on the forum since so, I now know to stay away from this "respected" member - I'm not going to name names now but, I'm going to point out who he is when he tries to sell anything on here -
makes me upset - when someone agrees to sell you something they have for sale and then comes up with an excuse for a delay and then just stops all communication - at least he could have the nuts to tell me it's not going to happen.
