Does this not annoy anyone else?, by laing on Feb 9, 2008 0:24:47 GMT 1, I hate for this to be my first thread. BUT, it really grits my s h i t when people offer things for sale and then do not even have the decency to pm/email back in response. I thought this was a forum for art lovers and should be treated as so? Don't post threads offering items for sale if you are not prepared to follow up... anyone else...? 
I have had one great, quick efficient sale on this site. But have also been messed around and not had any responses to legitimate, hard-cash and serious offers!

I think it's important to respond to offers etc even if it's only to say 'no thanks.' To be honest, while I've had plenty of enjoyable discussions about buying/ selling here, things often seem to fall through. If I ever wanted to do a deal in a hurry I'd probably still go to ebay

I've done some serious deals on here with a number of members plus discussed other deals that have not happened as we couldn't agree on a price / trade. There are new members popping up all the time, some are "sound as a pound" others simple flippers after the biggest, fastest buck possible
