No I know nothing I only own signed pieces now so wouldnt know what these low end prints are worth . Absolutely - I asked for opinions on pricing - nobody was forthcoming so offered an opinion myself - no 'price is firm - no offers', a ball-park.....and more than happy to debate on the basis for my thinking pressed against anybody else's constructive view.....but one just wanted to point and giggle (is that an opinion) and the other couldn't read, and so therefore made a completely mis-leading statement. I live by the same rules and am big enough to take it if I'm wrong but I fail to see how either of those posts did anything towards contributing to a healthy discussion. And given the state of this place lately have no patience for fools whatsoever

Back when I took a photography class, we routinely dry mounted our work for display and review purposes. But we can always print another picture. However, I would never dry mount any of my art otherwise.

(1) You are in effect permanently gluing the artwork to a board, (2) risk of bubbling if not done properly, (3) no option to float the print if that's what someone desires, (4) most importantly, collectors want to keep things as prestine, mint, and original as possible, and lastly (5) it sounds like an unfulfilling sexual position. Back when I took a photography class, we routinely dry mounted our work for display and review purposes. But we can always print another picture. However, I would never dry mount any of my art otherwise. |
