I just think from a business perspective that not having prices listed will mean you lose a large percentage of visitors to your site. What's the bounce rate from your Banksy page? Have you ever A/B tested it? One with prices, one without?
There are some lovely pieces there but as soon as I see POA i'm out, i can't imagine i'm the only one. To me it just says - give me more money that this is worth. I'm sure you know the market value, why not put them on there? Maybe do like Hangup does and put a price with 'make me an offer'.

Hey Eschiff, I actually switch between prices and no prices, I don't see POA as amateurish when dealing with high end prints in an ever changing market, if someone is genuinely interested in purchasing a 10 second email is all it takes and you'll get a price. I find websites than display stock they don't have access to to draw traffic to them or sites which don't reply to emails or sites that exhibit works for sale they don't have any longer or sites that sell works framed without taking the print out to check over beforehand amateurish. What I have on the site is available, its kept up to date at all times, the prints are checked over and shipped flat packed always with coa sent separately. I wouldn't say because a gallery puts prices on the works makes them in any way professional, I've dealt with a lot of them. I'll get some prices up soon

One is it's to stop rivals undercutting or saying to potential buyers the price is too high and another is that often prices are not fixed as a high price at auction and publicised in the media can mean a rush to buy and obviously dealers want to get the best prices.

Ive sold a lot more banksys thans on the site(not trying to brag), i try to remove ones that have sold before when a new one of the same image comes in but i do need to go through them again. Whats not marked sold is available
