Has anyone bought Banksy art from any of the European art dealers? In particular I'm trying to find out if anyone has used an Amsterdam gallery called Lionel Gallery please? Am thinking of purchasing and they seem quite legit and have an amazing selection of original Banksy prints.
I would appreciate any advice please.

Banksy sale - Amsterdam , by Deleted on Mar 31, 2015 11:38:48 GMT 1, I bought LIITA unsigned from them last summer and all was fine. Shipped flat and arrived in Scotland within a day or two, I'd have no hesitation in using them again if the price was right.

And in this market not many, I see Unlawful art have a unsigned LIITA for £15500.00
I can't say i'm surprised, as I always thought this images was going to catch up to GWB. They are getting hard to find.

I do not consider that a street art environment and their inventory is in my opinion an easy inventory with names like Hirst, Warhol, Appel, Corneille, all very popular in that market. I do not feel there is much room for new talent and/or cheaper art. I would be much happier to step into a gallery where I can find Banksy's work in between unkown work that may reach a much broader audience.
It is just a matter of taste and personal opinion. I am sure that if you buy your Banksy at them, you will get a good service and easy to deal with them. It might cost you a price, but like I said, its personal taste.

I understand your point about finding little places that are more in tune with urban art. It's very difficult these days in almost all large cities.

I just enquired about some of the pieces they have on the site and was quoted 9k euro for an unsigned Grannies. Needless to say I didn't even start negotiating.
