Looking at the people's valuation of the Banksquiat, Thrower wins the the value battle with the Hook.

There was a few pages long discussion here during the second auction, you should be able to find it. Looking at the people's valuation of the Banksquiat, Thrower wins the the value battle with the Hook. |

The received wisdom is to buy what you like (rather than what you think will give you most "bang for your buck") The intrinsic problem with this is, of course, that you sell the kid to buy something you like but, when its value collapses, you end of hating it for what it reminds you of having once done. At least with the GH, you can use it as a coat hanger (to go with your doormat) if all else fails.

then I like GDP thrower the most.

Thrower by a mile for me, the GH is a brilliant piece donโt get me wrong but the Thrower has such an iconic image. Value wise I personally think the thrower will outperform the GH in the long run, despite the hooks low edition number I just donโt think it has audience appeal to rival the Thrower.

If these don't have a COA (and I don't think they do), then the value is perhaps similar to a gift print.
You need rock solid proof it's real, all the documentation you can have, and a trusting buyer, then maybe ยฃ10k ??

In the emails I received from GDP it stated that the COA would be issued in 2 years time. I'm most likely going to keep it for longer than that as this is quite a special piece for me. |
