Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by saint on Sept 21, 2020 16:51:07 GMT 1, The A/P's of the soup can are the original colourway, but as with the coloured editions, all editions of 10 Ah, okay. So you have #6 , #6 and AP #6 as an example. Nice! Well, since we are in the super rich category buyers now.... Which are usually : in finance in real estate in bitcoins or internet geeks Who all most likely have a thing for numbers. So selling them together as a matching numbers set could bring a premium. Only drug lords might not be inclined to go the extra mile then.... Could be a expensive gamble though. Selling separately would be the safe way to go. Listing them separate in the same auction would work: if 1 bidder gets the first 2 he will go crazy to get the AP as well. I realise I'm not really helping here, but it's an interesting dilemma. And a nice problem to have.
Although if you have 6, 6 and 6 I would split them.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by usernamehere on Sept 21, 2020 20:43:51 GMT 1, New poster, just found this site. Question, I purchased a No Ball Games Artist Proof /28 - green background - a year and half ago, Curious as to what it's worth today.
Same auction, I purchased a Rude Copper original in spray paint but only with a Pest Control COA, it's unsigned. Looks awesome but it does have some noticeable paper loss on the backside of the cardboard in the upper left if you look.
Seems Banksy works have up ticked a bit in pricing even though I felt I overpaid at the time. I'm sure you guys probably know these pieces and also could let me know your opinion of values on each. It was from Heritage Auction House. Thanks in Advance. Thoughts would be appreciated.
Edited: Sorry was trying top post pictures for reference. Apologize

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by bishka1482 on Sept 23, 2020 12:10:50 GMT 1, We never bought our banksy's to sell - just to hang on the wall to enjoy and hopefully increase in value slightly to pass on to our children. However, given the recent jump in prices selling the four we own would make a massive indent in our mortgage. However we are fortunate that we don't need to sell. Wondered what people think? Sell now whilst prices high or hold onto them on the basis that prices likely to continue to increase or will market bottom out or drop (appreciate all speculation)? Suppose either way the children end up with the money! Any informed opinions on the market much appreciated.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by fusion0001 on Sept 23, 2020 14:20:40 GMT 1, I have finally updated www.banksy-value.com after the results of the Sothebys and Chrisites auctions. I had to update the Banksy Price Index formulas and I will probably still work on splitting prints into 4 categories and creating separate indices for them (signed vs unsigned, low-end vs high-end), but with the current methodology the increase is an impressive +52%

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by twinkle on Sept 23, 2020 22:28:47 GMT 1, Hi all, I very rarely have the time to keep up with events on here these days but had to comment about valuations. The recent price rises says a lot about where asset prices are in a world of zero interest rates, but the recent rise must have some other drivers, surely? Is there one or two big buyers out there hoovering up prints to hedge themselves against currency debasement, or what??? Prices are so crazy that I’m concerned about insuring the few I’m lucky to own. Anyone got a view? ( and yes they could go much higher, it’s more the last few weeks/months that surprises me). Thanks

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by cest on Sept 24, 2020 19:47:00 GMT 1, Did you read the first sentence? I did - at first I thought you were after an evaluation - to which I thought there is no one in world atm who has a clue what is the current market value. But then you go on about providing current banksy market paperwork - so I then thought - COA. Is this a riddle? Do I have to guess what you're after?
Paperwork would be the current appraisal paperwork
Furthermore, there has to be a "comp" or formula or methodology that can help appriasers determine a ballpark...I don't need it exactly and I don't need 40k usd. I just need something more than I have... the latest sale being 17.5 k pounds from p.a. might be good enough
