The fact that I have been told/read this from more than one source has credence but of course there is no guarantee. It could be that Banksy is regarded as the Picasso of our generation, I sincerely hope so, in which case even if a slump prices may pick up in the future. I never expected to be in this position, I like many bought them because I adore Banksy but I canโt afford to effectively gamble with circa 50k a print given that it is life impacting sort of money.

You can get an awful lot more Picasso work for the same price as a Banksy print though, so I would agree that his print market is ridiculously over inflated and will see a correction. |

You must do what is right for your own circumstances. I have sold pieces because I thought they were worth โtoo muchโ and indeed the money was better off in my pocket at the time, so in that sense it is hard to regret selling but with hindsight it was financially the wrong thing to do.
If you need the money now, sell, if you donโt need it and youโre trying to predict the market then my advice would be donโt, because you wonโt be able to predict it.
In the short term there may well be a levelling but long term I think the value remains and grows - just not at the rate of the last 12-18months.

For full disclosure i own the thrower's and rat's but over the three days i attended wasn't lucky enuf to be given a Crisis.
My mate on the other hand turned up with his two kids and got give a set first time round! Was done and dusted in 20mins (lucky git),, me on the other hand spent the best part of three days at GDP. Pics to prove it too.
*Edit anyone out there that wants to swap a mint thrower for a mint Crisis,, i'd definitely be game for a straight swap. Face to face meet in the UK.

Apologies. Wasnโt actually aiming the insinuation at you. I think the chap who was suggesting these are worth ยฃ12/14k probably owns a set and was probably trying to hype the prices to try and protect his assets
Iโm not that clued up on the throwers prices (Iโm guessing a touch more than rats?) but the rats have been trading around ยฃ2k on here so no idea where the ยฃ14k figure came from! Wishful thinking me thinks.

All 6 are in good condition, one is excellent and the other 5 are very good.
Appreciate the advice on price.

These are unauthorised by Banksy,still they are going at crazy prices on ebay or discogs. I collect vinyls and they are nice collectables in my opinion,but the prices go higher than the authorised ones...I don't get it:)
Just make a search on discogs.com and you will have an idea or a crazy price idea(they stand unsold for a long time) Good luck!
