Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Unica on Dec 8, 2021 18:46:57 GMT 1, Another price increase 50 percent up is coming. It’s same story again and again. Remember Banksy is Picasso of 21 st century. I think of him as the Basquiat of our generation, either way we will look back and kick ourselves for not buying his originals.

Cheers I have become aware of a couple that are being quietly marketed in the range £345-375k. These are Galleries selling them on behalf of clients so my thought is their clients wants c.£325k returning.
It is very unclear how many of the 300 were sold framed (and glazed that was a separate option).

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by JFCC on Dec 17, 2021 15:30:53 GMT 1, Hi all What are looking at for the following prints all signed and with Prov 4 Soup Cans Print - gold tops, Edition of 54 Radar rat print signed Rude copper Signed Pulp Fiction Signed Bar Code Signed Thanks Cool collection!!
But depends as a buyer or a seller!!
But assuming a private transaction, you'd be looking to pay/receive something of the order of:
Soup Cans - £95-105k - not seen for a while and soup cans aren't the most loved work generally so needs to find the right buyer
Radar Rat - £210-220k - saw one in a gallery at £245k but again maybe more as they haven't appeared for a long while
Rude Copper - £160-170k - not seen one for a while? I think one may have passed at an auction this year but that may have been unsigned. I am also not always sure how many signed ones of these hand finished ones there are. The hand finished edition was 250 but not all were sign although I stand to be corrected
PF - £100-110k - personally I am surprised it's not worth more and has peaked at way higher
Barcode - £100k - £110k - depressed prices a lot appeared for sale all at the same time
So just a view and once again congratulations if they are yours!!!

I agree it should be more than £100k - £110k as its a great print but I don't think the markets consistently there yet. The last 2 Auctions achieved all in £107k and £115k. Thats a hammer of £80k and £86k.
The unsigned ones slumped earlier in the year, probably due to over supply and have been as low as £38k hammer price or mid £50k's all in.
The last Forum Banksy Only Auction saw the first strong return from an u/s PF making £70k hammer or £93.8k so mid point of £82k. So sadly the u/s ones aren't £100k print unless you're retailing it in a gallery which you probably won't get.
Anyway its just my view and its worth what someone will pay for it!!

I personally don't really look at the unsigned price v the signed prices other than for a reference where there have been limited sales.
So whilst I agree PF should be a more valuable print, the market isn't there for it yet in my opinion. My reference to the u/s is only in response to your observation that a u/s PF was worth £100k, whereas although it did well at Forum last week, prior to that it had not and that was an indication of the market as the whole. I'm happy for other to suggest a different set of values to the original question!

Good luck with the sale. I would love this piece to have beside my single can, but unfortunately can’t get involved anymore at that level of pricing. But I’m sure there are others, who feel the same and are happy to spend to get their hands on one.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by keith on Jan 10, 2022 14:26:41 GMT 1, What's a realistic current valuation for a HC unsigned and Grannies unsigned? Both with COA. £35k HC and £30k Grannies? I haven't been keeping up, but those seem low. Again, been out of pricing for a minute, but I would hold onto them at that price or wait awhile longer. I would say 45 and 40. Thanks for the reply, I think things have softened quite a bit in recent times.
Does anyone actually still sell on here? Possibly not so easy with the values so high these days.
