i always estimate Faile at a wide range because small editions, varied images and fashion make for a weird market. One manโs ideal piece is often another manโs bleurgh... Prospector is an example as, even when I be seen it dirt cheap I couldnโt convince myself I liked it.

These were signed, numbered and stamped on reverse, at least mine is... Now that you mention that, I faintly remembered that its signed on the reverse. Mine's float mounted so I haven't seen the reverse side in years. Thanks for the info. |

IMHO, I'd contact the seller, see if you can get a partial refund, and then use that money towards getting the print restored. They just don't come up very often. Might be worth getting it looked at and see what solutions are available.

that darkening effect is an illusion caused by the exposed paper being bleach by UV. The area covered by the mat is the actual color of the paper but because the majority of the paper was bleached, the area covered by the mat looks darker
