I was just asking for the knowledge of members and I get two pieces of advice about doing homework (which I did as much as possible) and not buying if I am concerned on the price (like everyone who buys anything ISN'T concerned on the price). Then someone asking if I found one cheaper, would I buy it again. NO. I bought this one...just curious if I paid too much. F!!!! Heck, even discussing the good parts or bad parts about the print would have been appreciated... I bought it. I am not selling it. I am curious on a fair price. You all ask for price checks on prints or discuss that someone is selling a print for way more than some other place sells it...all I was asking for is a little forum info...geez this place needs more members like you, canny beat a mini midweek meltdown over feck all.

Float mounted in box frame by MFM with conservation glass.
Any thoughts on current value appreciated. I'm thinking around ยฃ3000 GBP?
Reluctant to remove from frame so am including frame / museum glass in my guesstimate!

I don't think there's been a recent decline. Prices have been pretty stable for a few years now.
Faile have been quite careful with how they release work. There's a range of pieces steadily made available, from the gallery stuff at the top end, then occasional paper originals for $6k, Book Covers for $1.5-2k, Studio Editions on paper, 150/250 series etc etc. Pieces are priced fairly, and there's not much for flippers to do.
Prices from source have declined from their peak in 2008/2009, but it feels like there's more work out there at different price points that satisfies the market.
