It's a tough one. On the one hand, it's a signed Invader; on the other, it's a pair of used sneakers. People are frothing for all kinds of Invader stuff, so it could go alright... only one way to find out.

went rapidly to 6k$ where they still were a few months ago
M Katz gallery (not cheap) had the half one at 9k$ apparently now on hold, and they still have the the full one for sale at 10k$.
So probably somewhere between those two figures if you find one

Sadly the only real way to go if you're not uber wealthy is to get works from source. I only ever got one Invader not from source, and that was a red Space One for USD800 back in the day. Those days are gone, but you can still "trade your way" up to the work you really want by attempting to pick up other works on release. Worst case you miss out. Second worse case you get a work by the artist, even if it isn't your favourite from their catalogue. Do it twice and you're within the realms of realistically offloading both and picking up an RVE. Keep in mind professional auction houses are the *worst* source of prints, price wise. You could probably get one on here much more economically, perhaps someone that would even be willing to swap it for a kit plus some cash etc. Don't give up.

That seems a good buy considering it is 5x bigger than most kits and that the edition is 5-10 time smaller
