Be patient. I'm after the Leia print myself. There is a lot of hype at the moment as one of his tattoo series prints sold for £3500 in the same art auction as some Banksy prints.  A similar thing happened with Pure Evil prints after he was on The Apprentice and then again when he appeared on Four Rooms. His nightmare series prints were going for over double the cost price and his £20 art car boot fair prints were selling for upto £200. Now it's 18 months later his only print that has held up after the hype is Hackney Looting print. 

His pieces were on the Kardashians the other week so wonder if they jumped on that.

Someone is bound to take a JJ Adams print or big image and photoshop it removing some of the Winehousing as in graffiti removal style and re sell it.

I wouldn't say bad photoshop jobs. Even photoshop takes some skill and creativity, the hardest part is the idea imho. At the end of the day he's probably got his ferrari on order and working from home doing the hours he wants, while I'm commuting on packed trains every day to a job I'd rather not be doing.
I still wonder if he has rights to use the images. If he does they won't be cheap and if he doesn't that ferrari could be going back.

One auction result does not art history "fact" make , and, that's really the only point I keep hearing being raised again and again.

Stik actually puts brush/can to canvas, and, has put the work in to get where he is - he is probably one of the most "community minded" street artist out there - and, his rise has been slow, steady and quite organic, no massive push, and, to my knowledge, no publisher/gallery pushing up auction results and pumping out press releases.
Yes, his work may be simple, but, it speaks to people's emotions without the need for language.

JJ Adams work is very formulaic and has been done before. As has the kind of PR campaign that's going on behind him. We've all seen it before, many times.

All seems very strange - and badly managed!! Everything sold on pre-sale so nothing left, even if you do happen to live near to one of their galleries. Not seen any images, but got the impression many may of purchased without even seeing them?
