Williams used to have a waiting list for his paintings in the early 90's - you paid (absurdly only $300, shame I didn't) and were put on the list, and when he got to your name you got one of his paintings...whatever it was. I reminded myself of this when I saw his recent show in Los Angeles. |

I was not so keen on the new screen prints either, they just didn't do it for me and my wife didn't like them so it was definitely a no go for us. The scout trooper was fun but again my wife was not going to go for that either. But we have just got the time machine which I think is fantastic!

... an online gallery 'found' an artist who just happened to do photographs of famous people and add tattoos to them, sometimes even the same people, but a slightly different pose and sold under the 'new' artists name ... anyway the publishing company called out the gallery as selling 'fakes' ... and it has caused a bit of a scuffufle ... things aren't 'sweet' between the gallery  and publisher ...

No ones having a dig. You asked for my opinion and I answered. There's a lot of negative comments about his work on this thread. I'd prefer it if you didn't single me as having a dig at an individual when I'm not. This forum is where people talk about art, as I was. Not about the artist.

JJ's really lucky that he's the artist putting the work out there, because there are an awful lot of geeks and nerds that do the same thing just for s**ts and giggles on twitter.
