Does anyone have any experience with framing or hanging clayboard? Advice would be appreciated. Yes. Diana at JLG had great advice about this. Assuming you're talking deep clayboard on wood frame, she suggested 2" dry wall screws, mounted into the wall, with the piece resting on those screws. That's how I have my Pose hanged and it definitely pops. |

For comparison / Hand-painted multiple on gesso board on left, Hand finished print on right. Hard to photo the richness of the painted version. The deckled edge on the print is fantastic. The quality of the print is far beyond anything else I'm seeing right now.

HF was $40 shipped flat, presumably same for regular. The HPM Burn (ed of 3 colors x 3 each) was 1950 USD. I'm clearly biased, but I think the quality of the Burn print is dramatically different from the other prints, except Crime / Blot, also by PopInk editions. Doll III and Rinse Repeat are nice, but are not full bleed, the paper is not as thick, nor is the printing as heavy / rich. Burn also has a full bleed deckled edge that puts it over the top. Almost anything i say would be biased / hyping so i won't put a number on it, but i wanted to expand on the differences between the prints for those that are interested.

I am always scared of prints that are shipped flat Cardboard is the absolute worst and layering it doesn't make it much better since the layers tend to fail together from very little force. A small sandwich of Coroplast panels works wonders. Worst case particle board because of the weight. Each one that gets to its destination undamaged is a blessing. |

I just sent something back to England and had to pay for the return postage. I will get another print but it sucks dealing with the whole ordeal. Here's a thought, ask them to pay the return postage and tell them that you should be compensated with at least a 50% refund because they will be compensated for the damaged print plus part of the shipping fee by the shipping company, at least that's how UPS works. Sending you good vibes. Good luck.
