Hang a Revok diamond, by Rochebm on May 3, 2015 2:41:48 GMT 1, My Revok diamond arrived today and I'm stumped on how to hang it. All it has on the back is a 1" deep cut into the wood by a router. Here's a pic:

I could probably just throw a couple nails in the wall to hang it from, but I'm worried it would rattle right off them in an earthquake. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Hang a Revok diamond, by Lesson1 on May 3, 2015 21:05:08 GMT 1, Couple of screw's or nails then wrap some plumbers tape round them slightly bigger than the groove and wriggle on. Should be a snug fit with no damage

They said just nails, I'm gonna wrap them in plumbers tape like Lesson1 suggested. That should give it some hold.

Hang a Revok diamond, by 11 on May 4, 2015 2:12:39 GMT 1, That's a very nice piece - I would consider either having it framed in a nice deep box frame with non-reflective or in a clear acrylic box. That way the piece will be professionally mounted and the frame / acrylic box will be easier to hang - as well as protecting your very, very nice piece - not jealous at all
