Not trying to add fuel to the hype fire, but as an owner of all three, this is my favourite!! The colours are top notch! I was expecting more muted I think, but these just pop. Much better than ATR IMO.

Scratch that, just arrived.
Cracking print. Colours are great. Very thick so will take a while to fatten.
I can confirm the PPs are NOT numbered.

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by pokodogo on Jul 4, 2015 13:43:02 GMT 1, PP not numbered !!!!!!
Unknown quantity then, similar to the ATR (obviously because of damaged prints) which in turn made the print a lesser value on the secondary market compared to the numbered run! But its all about the image which is excellent so who cares numbered unnumbered etc.
But I thought this may of been the case and the reason the total number of PP wasn't disclosed, as to accommodate more people who wanted the print (thus the quantity of PP will remain unknown even if we are told otherwise)!
What valid reasons could there be for not numbering them?

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by duggyfresh on Jul 4, 2015 14:55:11 GMT 1, Eelus said on twitter the PP was around 10% of the standard edition, which would make 20-25 right. Not really like ATR because none of these are known to be damaged, and as I dont think eelus ever quoted a number of PP for ATR, think thats why the value is a bit lower, could be wrong though about that one.

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by pokodogo on Jul 4, 2015 15:07:11 GMT 1, But why not number them up, surely it wouldn't just not be done as a norm. An edition is an 'edition of' because each print has a number. No number means no edition, so it's not a printers proof edition of 25... It's just a unnumbered Printers Proof!
Or am I totally wrong!

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by DrWhite on Jul 4, 2015 16:59:39 GMT 1, I think the only sensitivity about the PPs being u/n is because of the perceived large no. of PPs for ATR - I don't think buyers should worry here as the ATR PPs were a bigger number to replace the extraordinarily high number of damaged prints ! I honestly don't believe that this will be the norm.

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by behaviorist on Jul 4, 2015 17:35:56 GMT 1, I think there's a bit of misinformation going around. The PPs from AFT were not the damaged prints – damaged prints that were returned, clipped and resold were not labeled as PPs. The PPs are in every way identical to the standard run, except for being labeled as PPs (again, they were not clipped or altered standard edition prints). I have it from Eelus that the number of PPs for ATR was at around 10%, so very similar to this drop.

Eelus • Where They'll Never Find Us, by pokodogo on Jul 4, 2015 18:12:43 GMT 1, I did post earlier that it doesn't matter numbered or not and as an image it doesn't matter.
I just wondered why when nearly every other PP release has been numbered (I have matching numbered Conjuring & summoning PP) these haven't.
It's must be something as simple as PP's can be sent later to anyone receiving damaged prints from the numbered edition. This would prevent the same situation as the ATR release, and with AR dealing with it they could manage it and the PP run could be added to.

It matters because these prints aren't cheap £200 here or £300 for a D*Face today and I'm always mystified why some people trot out the "you're buying the image" line. Well, yes you are, but it's not that cheap an image. So, it's only fair that there is transparency. No more so with Eelus as he according to past threads on here (that I have no idea if true or not) has 'form' with PP issues so it seems like a legitimate thing to ask why the PPs aren't numbered.

Hey Ruggs. I'm not comparing it with other releases by Eelus. Maybe it's different in the urban scene, or maybe I'm out of date, but I always thought that it's usual for there to be only very few PP's, sometimes only 1. Isn't having 20-25 missing the point of what a PP is? Not intending to be critical of this particular artist. I was merely suprised that there would be this amount of PP's for any print. Unless, of course, there were a lot of printers involved!

But some cases it seems to be upto the artist if they get numbered. As I said earlier Eelus said it was around 10% so that should be the end of it. At the end of the day there are less PP's and AP's than the regular edition.

Well said.
Also my frame is about £30 from habitat/homebase. Looks the dogs bollocks so no excuse. It's not one for the under the bed art folder types. Get it hung.

I would certainly hope that there are less AP's and PP's than the main edition!
That said, I agree that those that got one are hopefully happy that they did.
I should add that my comments were about the number of PP's being released in general, rather than re this release.
Congrats to everyone who got one (save those that are on eBay!)
