The seller didn't mention you by name (but you decided to jump in and say it was you), he just said he was re-advertising due to time-waster, maybe not the best word to use, as perhaps you should have BOTH discussed the final price including postage and Insurance before agreeing, nothing serious, but a lesson learnt for future deals maybe?

Maybe the OP will also take from this that you cannot wantonly defame someone's character without them being open to show both sides of the story.
I think in light of things the OP should restart his sales thread so he can get a positive solution to selling his Dolk's.

My concern was not over the ยฃ10-15 but rather the posting of private messages.
It's a very slippery slope if that becomes acceptable and the norm.
I think that is a perfectly proper debate, with all due respect.
If it doesn't get pulled up, then everyone will think it's ok to do. In my humble opinion, it's not.
I would have raised it whoever had posted the private messages, whether a guardian or not.
If I'm wrong, I'm all ears to understand why.
Not having a pop at anyone. Just trying to clarify what is acceptable.

As for the issue of posting the pm's, we all have made mistakes and had a lapse of judgement through the years on this forum.
As a guardian/'ambassador,' we are human and make mistakes as well. After all, this guardianship is new to us. Yes, we will make mistakes from time to time. It's going to happen. However, we learn from said mistakes and avoid it in the future.
No need to continue to antagonize, or start bashing us guardians about it.
