Eternal Reflection?!?, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jun 8, 2015 10:31:36 GMT 1, Saw this Currys advert this morning at Burgess Hill station, it's not quite Eternal Reflection. I can see why Whatson choose a butterfly over a reflection of his Grandparents.

Eternal Reflection?!?, by WOOF on Jun 8, 2015 14:37:48 GMT 1, I thought this was public knowledge that he used the NASA photos. And their images are in the public domain and free use, so besides being a bit lazy, there's not really anything wrong with it. Made for, likely, his best print...

Eternal Reflection?!?, by 11 on Jun 8, 2015 14:50:50 GMT 1, I love it when i see a magazine image and then realise it is the stock photo of some other image I particularly enjoy - Miss Universe etc etc
I don't see the issue here - they are just re-appropriation of images available to all. I think when individuals or print houses actually make outright copies of other artists work without any permission and try and excuse themselves for charity or other such things - that is the kind of behaviour and activity i find REALLY shady.

Eternal Reflection?!?, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jun 8, 2015 17:17:47 GMT 1, I don't have an issue with it, I was just surprised / amused to see it on the wall in my lounge over breakfast and then on a billboard on my commute to work.
It is my favourite Whatson by a country mile and the stencil work is awesome, I never tire of looking at it.
