I have been asked what trades I would be interested in but to be honest clearing wall space is the main objective so any trade would need to be for 3 or 4 from my thread or there is little point. I would also consider adding cash plus 2 or 3 pieces for the right piece. Artists I am interested in are plentiful but for starters BAST, Faile, Charming Baker, Blek Le Rat, EINE, Amory, Hayuk, D*Face, Cleon Baglione, Sam Friedman, Matty Small and Lucy McLauchlan.

From the image I sensed the vulnerability of old age, lost hope & desperation contrasted by the nonchalance of youth. A vulnerability almost embarrassment heightened and exposed by dressing the elderly man in a tutu.
It also makes me think of the saying "Your never to old to learn"
It reminds me of one of my favourite artists Lucien Freud.
Whoever buys this piece will not be disappointed.

Originally part of the impressive collective artists "The Beautiful Losers" Romon Kimin Yang aka Rostarr is a multi-disciplinary artist, painter, calligrapher and filmmaker living and working in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts where he studied experimental graphic design and printmaking, From 1989-95, Early in his career he managed to produce work in both art and graphic design spheres, blurring the lines between the two. For the past fourteen years he has built a extensive oeuvre of abstract polymorphic paintings, totemic iconographic characters and mostly black and white calligraphic drawings. Always creating in a spontaneous manner, he is continually striving to find freedom within style, medium and form, and building upon the iconographic visual language he terms “Graphysics”, a word that exemplifies the geometric dynamism characteristic in his work. Since 1999 Rostarr has also been a core influential member of the group Barnstormers, a collective of approximately forty artists.

Originally part of the impressive collective artists "The Beautiful Losers" Romon Kimin Yang aka Rostarr is a multi-disciplinary artist, painter, calligrapher and filmmaker living and working in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts where he studied experimental graphic design and printmaking, From 1989-95, Early in his career he managed to produce work in both art and graphic design spheres, blurring the lines between the two. For the past fourteen years he has built a extensive oeuvre of abstract polymorphic paintings, totemic iconographic characters and mostly black and white calligraphic drawings. Always creating in a spontaneous manner, he is continually striving to find freedom within style, medium and form, and building upon the iconographic visual language he terms “Graphysics”, a word that exemplifies the geometric dynamism characteristic in his work. Since 1999 Rostarr has also been a core influential member of the group Barnstormers, a collective of approximately forty artists.

He sort of does these type of slashed price reductions from time to time himself. It certainly was not meant to reflect my opinion of the quality of his work and was hopefully an opportunity for someone to pick up a great piece of art at a great price. That said its a fair point so no more cost reductions.

neil has a reputation for selling things at a "move it now" price, and he's a gracious dude that supports lots of artists. Better to flog it on the bay than give a forum member a deal? Tough call...
