its in the serpentine and my fiance and I spent most the time looking at the inflatibles and seeing if they were blown up (like floats) or actually metal. I know it said aluminium on the wall but my fiance had to tap one secretly to see if it was.

Thought it was mad to see the way it disected other objects perfectly as if it was put in a transporter (like the fly) and fused with the secondary items. Kind of two objects occupying the same space by mistake. Other than that I wasnt getting more from the pieces to be honest.

worth a see as its free.

i have been and recommend it to everyone, my friends father donated some of his koons works for the show.. i love his popeye and inflatable's there amongst some of my favorite works by jeff!

all depends, i would hazzard a guess that the pieces in the show are in the 3 million + region...

Well, it's all in the way you see art.
Is it all down to your drawing/painting/sculpting ability, or is it the ideas that are important?

In the case of Koons and Hirst, I'd say it would be near impossible for them to produce all their ideas themselves.

Unfortunately we don't have many Michelangelos these days!

Not saying his not a great artist , but don't them there pieces remind you of Ben Frost ?

the koons exhibit is surreal, it makes you wanna grab and squeeze, i couldn't believe my eyes. the place has so many staff and they are watching like hawks so its pretty impossible to touch. the big paintings are killer. at first i thought i was staring at collage and from 6ft away they look like big digital prints, but they are flawless paintings. the only downside was the lack of any chromed objects. well worth the trip for sure.

my friend goes to jeffs studio every year to choose a new painting and he says its amazing, the production process is crazy, all the creases on the blow ups are hand sanded and some paintings can take a year to get right! its quite clinical!

theres the big one at the tate modern to come yet featuring koons. the name escapes me but the focus of the show is self-promoting artists - hirst, koons etc. lots of big names expected
