BANKSY "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, by Matt on Oct 1, 2015 19:29:47 GMT 1, For the masked bal I met only 3 members of the forum, - not all the closed and " old " guards - we ' ll say :-) ย in another space and time maybe ย - , but not the least , all super nice, close to the people and the laugh ! I really enjoyed to be with my great friend Matt , who helped me to get in - I will be always your friend if you want it to - , like me , has the same view ( I would like to speak ย with him during hours ) about art ( what a knowledge ย ! So passionate ! Liking pints too and music ! I was a bit worried about him to be with some " locals " mates, coz I could not be everywhere, thank you for tour understanding M. ,you made me discover a lot of art - all the Hirst and co. tent that I had forgotten to see, then some other stencils on the walks, then to show me the PussyRiot that I did not even saw ( ready for the selfie ) , etc etc... I really want to give you back all this happiness !ย I met tooย laurentbaboo ,that I lost in the night andย Aza and his lovely wife , that made me laugh so much in an amazing and short sketch movie and funny circumstance ( only AZa can explain this I guess ) !ย I thank you all of them for their kindness and their true dialogs an thoughts with me, frankly and honestly ย !ย One ย on my great mate, ย Dan , Is in the Wsmercury special issue of today ! I was impressed by that TED Talk and happy to share. The consistency in rhythm of delivery and intonation combined with unexpected shifts in mood โ whether lightheartedly comical, wistful or melancholic โ is very effective.
For me, it's comparable to the work of a skilled DJ.

Had them in the basket but sold out when tried to pay like a lot of Forumites. Managed to bag tickets for friday morning spent all day inside until 5 when they closed the park. Went out for dinner and on the walk back to the hotel noticed that the light was on in the ticket booth. Wallked up, bought tickets and walked straight in. Only missed Pussy Riot.
What a fantastic result and a memorable night.

I like the guys visiting him too, hippie mind. I liked this space ( cards were a bit expensive but well, I hesitate to buy this stamp, they made me remember some from My mate Mister Aitch, but theuy were great ! www.misteraitch.co.uk/Yeah, I remember Mister Aitch. I used to collect Cauty CNPD stamps and then that led to Mister Aitch. I gave up when my stamp addiction was starting to make me look a bit nerdy. I have a few early Cauty stamps, but that's it now. I think I posted the rest? I actually forgot to buy one of the Darren Cullen stamps. F**kity f**k, f**k, f**k. They were only 50p too. Cheaper than a real stamp. I guess I'll just have to buy one off eBay for ยฃ800 now. And, AND I didn't realise there was a trampoline in the Pocket Money Loans shop. I was so busy looking at all the stuff, I didn't look at the floor. Almost killed myself by bouncing towards the cabinets.

Unfortunately the registration didn't complete until the very end and after the masked ball. I had two tickets for it which I couldn't make and there were people crying out for them on here (a guy from Ireland in particular) but I couldn't post! Ended up going through ebay, sort of...

Anyway around 11 pm the park was ( not ) full but ( very ) cool ! a little Glatonsbury festival in fact !..
UK people are awesome ! They like fiesta and are not poseurs...

I guess that they keep most of them for " locals " ( there was a lot, around 100 for my mates ' s " crew " ) , guests, vip, friends, etc, etc... De la soul took me right back in the 90's when I saw them in Le palace in Paris! Dj premier and his 80's set was brilliant too! It was difficult to keep up with everyone (sorry Roy, we met briefly and got lost), but kept bumping into each other's!
I am still trying to get over the all experience of this weekend but end up watching something on you tube, or the photos I took and I'm back in! Just fantastic!

I didn't pick it up as always seems odd nabbing stuff like that so that others cant see it! - even if it is meant to be taken!
