I have a contact down there - befriended a local to keep track of what's happening
He tells me that the door staff are now saying all tickets are online only and won't be any walk-ups - even tonight...and they will be checking ID
Desperately need clarity on this as I know people are coming from far and wide this weekend and without tickets. The unfortunate thing is that for £3 people will buy just to get a ticket as a souvenir regardless of whether they can actually attend - aside from the flippers / touts
Hopefully they will change their policy again pretty quickly when it's half empty tonight

Funny that they added at the end that actually he hasn't been booted out, and the protest has stayed!
I'd have assumed that the Israeli artists involved are fairly left leaning anyway, even if they had previously fought in the IDF (doesn't everyone there have to?).

I doubt anyone's timed to 3 hours. It's just encouraging people to arrive throughout the day.
No idea how queue tickets would work though! There were no physical tickets before. Just a stamp on your wrist.

I hope they do a few walk up tickets, as I witnessed a few old dears all wanting to get in on Thursday who told the security that they didn't own a computer between them. |

Israel has compulsory conscription as far as I know.
I agree, a lot of Israelis are anti war and get discriminated agaisnt just for being Israeli.
I can see the Palestinian artists right to protest but who knows, maybe the Israeli artist shares his point of view.

Many thanks Happyshopper. Unfortunately that strip of Irish Sea means the day trip is fairly expensive and I need to be on a train back to the Airport at 4pm so would prefer a slot rather than risking the queue. It was a rush decision on which time to go when the link finally went live and mistakenly thought later would be better. Still got my eye on Massive Attack weekend so may give up these two tickets in exchange for picking me up some souvenirs.
