Upcoming Faile release, by Nick on Oct 21, 2015 13:11:23 GMT 1, I've already ordered a custom double mount from ezeframe. Will slide perfectly into the habitat Milano 60x80 which is on sale at £30. £49 all in happy days. link for the mount please!
-I entered the picture size as 540mmx690mm. (this is slightly smaller than the actual size so will allow a CM or so for the mount to overlap the print and cover the mylar strips i use to keep the print in place)
-On the 'mount' tab select double mount. On the top mount enter the size options as 24mm for the left and right, and 49mm for the top and bottom. On the bottom mount enter 6mm.
You can obviously change these widths to your choice if you want a thinner or thicker bottom mount or just a single mount. Just make sure on the 'review' tab that the frame size is 600x800. (to check this you will need to add a frame from the 'frame' tab, but remove the frame once the measurements are right, before you check out!)
- on the extras page make sure to select a 'conservation barrier board' as this is the backing board the artwork will sit on.
I chose black and yellow..once i put it in the habitat frame will look like this..

I wonder if this print will affect the price with the low editions of this print. I own several of the original low edition dogs. If anything, it creates more recognition of Faile's most iconic image. I went ahead and bought one of the lithos just to support these guys. The old hand finished prints are amazing and truly what drew me in the first place, but I like how accessible this makes Faile. It's a great release to wrap up such a great show at the brooklyn museum. |

Yea I reckon that they hit 1000 and closed it off . Good healthy run some Banksy prints done large runs . And 1000 is not crazy big .
I say good on Faile for giving their fans what they wanted . We have been asking for years to give us this and they have duly delivered with a signed edition, I think we can say edition , in a quality colourway that everyone who wanted one and was relatively alert was able to score without any hassle at a fair price point . Only negative for me is the month long wait

Not that it concerns me, but i always think of how people display art that were designed this way or similar, especially in a home setting.

Yep exactly that - can't find a pic but my mate did that with a Goldie resin piece and it looked amazing, the strips weren't blacklight ones but they're defo out there and it's very easy to do, will look the nuts |
