It is sounding like people who are there in person are getting reserved pricing for actually being there in person.
Sounds like they immediately hiked price to 6k mark for phone buyers. If there are 50 people in line they gave them first come first serve pricing.

Personally, I appreciate the price-hike as a mechanism to actually get a print at a price connected to the initial drop. I much prefer this to a Phlegm drop (just random example) where the prints instantly sell to some collectors, but mostly flippers that immediately double or triple the price.
As a basic business principal, it's better to price it right and sell through the inventory at a reasonable pace than to immediately put the widgets out there and sell out.
I emailed at 12:00 / 12:01, and still no call, and I'm out over $5k... I'm disappointed, but not going to wail about it
