I like the idea of the prints being averaged out in price like someone suggested. They made it easy for me to not call them back. I will save my fire power for a possible Banksy release  Or buy the Kaws print from last year.

I would've picked up for everyone that wanted one. Pace was allowing us to pick up multiples if we wanted which saved the $232 on shipping on each additional piece as well. |

It's ok that they gouge you $2500 more than Joe Bob because you sent your email .01 seconds later he did? It's horse sh#t. Makes absolutely no sense. If you're a printhouse fine, go ahead and hold back 10% of the run for your reserves in case the print turns into a lottery ticket so to speak otherwise just charge everyone the same damn price for what is the same exact thing. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should have to pay $1500 more than anyone else for this today. None. Pick a price and stick with it. I have a personal rule where I NEVER pay more than the initial price on any print ever. I do like kaws, I do like this print and I certainly wouldn't mind having it on the wall. I could afford it if I really wanted to but I knew it would be very expensive form Pace and had no hesitation to completely pass on it. The hysteria is just ridiculous. ย

As far as I know marking them as gift doesn't really solve the problem as there's a maximum value for the gift to be duty-free as well.
Other possibility is that they mark the value of the package low enough to make it duty-free.
Other than that I don't think customs check every imported packages and it's sometimes due to luck.
