I think ยฃ490 would represent rational real-world no-fee market value, and would see the vendor pocket nearly ยฃ300 for briefly owning something they didn't even want, which is in my opinion extremely hard to grumble about. He may well have a very valid reason for wanting to maximise his profits at the moment, and it may well sell at his asking price, but I think Ruggs has priced his aggressively.

I disagree regarding Ruggs price being aggressive. I think his price represents a good deal for both himself and the buyer, his price of ยฃ515 is way cheaper than the price this piece is being offered elsewhere. Regardless of the profit he is making on his original purchase, nearly everyone on this forum is making a profit on the art they are selling.

Hence the fact he now has the cash from other sales and no longer wants to sell this, although he was selling it for the lowest price available online.

I think people perhaps should be left alone to do what they wish. As long as they introduce themselves, produce a good sales thread, be transparent and otherwise contribute to the forum.

Think you're right on most of that, not many people are going to sell below market value. The main thing is not to sell a piece on here just after a release, because you're just rubbing people's noses in it, who wantec it for their wall. Think that situation is reserved for the bay!!
