It is meant to represent the band that is around a stack of notes after they have been printed.

Nothing to do with cash return noodles, its part of the piece, sort of like ripping the banksy sig off a print becaise the sig made the print messy.
I know wot ya mean mate, Im jus trying to give the seller a break. One or two strong negatives about the damage ect on this canvas but I also think theres alot of positives.
Someone who would not normally be able to own this canvas is gonna get the chance to...
Someone can live without the red tape and put up with the cut in the corner, Im sure of it!
This piece can still be enjoyed!

The red paper thing is a mock up of a money band you get from a bank with a stack of notes.It is a bit annoying when its on the canvas but I would say from a resale point of view it is 100% necessary.

I agree it may be a little much cash for this in its state but theres still a deal here for someone!

honestly for someone that wants the canvas just to hang it would be a cool buy but just remember the band was actually part of the canvas and meant to be there... maybe if you're lucky and D* is in a really good mood you might be able to get a new band, I would try him or Beth... ask nicely!!!
It's hard to see the damage, maybe a better picture of just that...
Otherwise the price doesn't seem that bad considering the current demand...
