And I an ashmamed at the stance taken by our government.
I heard a Tory minister being interviewed on radio 4 this morning, and it was infuriating. Claimg Britain is at the forefront of aid efforts. Bollocks. Her main concern was that no refugees come here, or maybe we should take some children or women who have suffered sexual abuse. That's just not enough! We should be welcoming refugees.
I look at the attitude of the German government and can't understand why we aren't welcoming refugees.
Maybe with photographs like this, there will be a change in attitude. Did I hear the The Sun have called for refugees to be given a home, or did I just imagine that?! But it really shouldn't be reliant on such photographs.
So sad.

They have now started calling them 'refugees' rather than 'migrants' as well.
They have always been refugees in need. The ones that are sitting in Calais you can probably call 'migrants' as they are already in a good country and have no need to come here. Their need to come to the UK is for other reasons.
The refugees trying to get through Hungary are in real problems.
