Those people will now sit there all day with security watching over them. Why not give them the prints now and everyone can go home and not block up the hospital. Seriously have fun and play nice.
As for Stik I spent many years wondering what the appeal was especially when I heard that large originals were selling at ยฃ10k+. Whilst I am not going to comment further on prices I would say that I have really grown to love his work. He seems to be able to convey not only a message but real emotion with the simplest line work. Really quite talented IMO.
P.S. I do not own any works by Stik.

I'm pleased they issued the tickets at 8 am as I would of hated to wait until 5 pm to find out. Well done to all who got your tickets. The search for my first stick goes on.

Although i like this "queuing in the rain grey", i would have loved a "fear of missing out blue" or "queue turns into a riot red"

No queuing in the cold for up to 15+ hours back then. Huge respect to Stik for raising 50K for people that actually need it at the expense of many in that queue that don't and are there purely for their own selfish gain off the back of a charity sale. To the proper Stik lovers in the queue, I hope you enjoy your print for many years to come ..... and you don't catch a cold while you're waiting.

By allowing people to come back later the release would be "first come first served starting whenever you want!" That's ridiculous. Sit there until 5 PM and I hope it pours. |
