Threads like this should get responses like this OR monitored by the guardians and deleted. As for price manipulation, he is asking the going rate for the print so I don't see the issue. if you don't like the print or the artist that's fine, we all have different opinions but this guy just wants to sell his print.

There is no rule against hyping up an artist.
For the newbies on here - the negative ramifications of hyping up an artists prices is that often times the hyping works and makes the art less affordable for the majority of true collectors with limited budgets.

I was in Art Basel in December and the gallery owner wanted $6k for the print below and he told me it was a collaboration with another artist. He said it was an original and they only wanted $6k for it which gallery prices are always inflated. Obviously, I have never seen this print before so I cant say if its an original or not. But IF IT IS, then why is a regular red baby print so special? So your Red baby print is worth more then that huh? Or are you just stating that you wouldn't sell it for less then £10k? |

This is a "Liberty" print that was hand finished by LA2. It was a colab piece done during the show at the Dorian Grey Gallery in NYC. |

Not sure how many threads needs to be made about the false hype around Stik. This wouldn't even sell on ebay at this price or anything close to it. I am truly getting tired of seeing Stik threads with these absurd prices and false comments. This is harming the board daily with this rubbish. For god sakes, you have a guy who has only 4 posts posting in here. I am sure that account was made specifically to bump this thread. Threads like this should always be reported. I guess it's either a buyers market or a sellers market.
It certainly is a fast rise in prices and the ones that have sold for high prices are very few of the total output.
I assume most people who bought, bought to help the hospital and are keeping the print on their wall at home.
