I was given a Matt Signed Stik poster at the Print launch at the Hommerton. I was told that it was only staff that would get these whether signed or not. I expressed to the curator and Chief fund raiser that I could raise some more money for them, so they agreed to give me one. With that in mind I will be offering an auction for the highest bid and this will go directly to them. SIGNED STIK MATT POSTER CHARITY AUCTION , by 11 on Oct 2, 2015 21:31:13 GMT 1, Just to echo Dibbs - there was a glossy poster, available to everyone that made a small donation. They were in a box and there must have been at least 500, possibly more.
Then there was a very small pile of prints that looked much better quality than the poster, slightly smaller and had a matte finish - not glossy - could only have been about 50 in the pile of specials.
They were very much regarded as Special and were being given to staff, not to the general public. Even those that queued all day and missed out didn't get one of these.
If anyone has made a tidy sum from selling their Stik in the past then I say this would be a nice way to say Thank You......
