Your Grey edition of 63 should be a bit higher than that as it is a much smaller edition. Yes, I know, some people prefer the white over the grey but the grey is the color of the original street piece so that matters too

The reasoning was, "that's what they are going for in New York." |

That was the white, not the grey. Still an amazing price though. It was part of a lot of Banksy prints that all sold under what you would expect, as well as three that were withdrawn, strangely. Anyone know the story? Perhaps the conditions were bad?

Can't see grey rain fetching less than ยฃ18-20k. As always depends on how distressed the seller is and how keen the buyer - not that many of them out there!

Also Which prints do you think "sold under what you would expect"? I went back through what was sold and if anything they were on point or even a bit higher than market value at the time...?
I think that was one of the more "true to market" auctions we've seen in a while. Just my 2 cents.
