But (apart from not affording the piece) I just can't see the allure in buying estate prints of dead artists. Did they want this artwork as a print, did they want it publicized at all? Would want to buy from and support artists while they are alive and make the artistic decisions about their work all day long.

I mean, Iโm pretty happy having my book with the image in it but I can also see someone wanting the large image on their wall. Brand X does some amazing print work and who am I to tell people how to spend their money. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

I am happy to say, I have been planning on selling some pieces from the collection for many years and it was not due to financial pressure or any other negative issues. I will get back to everyone as I have already responded to over 100 dm's and will get to the remaining inquiries in the next 24 hours. I am very surprised how much interest some artists got and how little others have such as Angel "LA2" Ortiz, Cecily Brown, Robert Indiana, Retna, Condo & Futura definitely got the most love.
