At that moment in time I don't imagine that even POW could have forseen the increase in interest and values that was about to happen. Therefore I don't imagine the issue of a blindstamp was seen as a big deal as long as the print was numbered. It's only now that people expect the level of consistency associated with art prints worth thousands.
Great print btw. It's definitely next on my hitlist. Enjoy it as much as you can mate, stamp or no stamp
