Banksy HMV Print, by artlike on Aug 24, 2023 20:55:52 GMT 1, The reason many people on here don't care about current prices for Banksy's prints is that they look at the people that currently own Banksy prints as those who have bought them between 2018 - 2022 after the original owner who purchased them for $50 - $500 has sold them on for at least 10k - 100k profit. The current owners probably bought them for 50k - 150k after it has been bought and sold multiple times throughout the years. It is no longer considered art and it has now become a paper commodity with an established value and fluctuating market.
Do or don't care? It used to be pretty much every thread's main topic until people lost so much money (me included!) and now are very quiet on the subject. My point was more that maybe people have found it very difficult to accept that prices have fallen and certainly could continue to do so
