Øystein Dypedal solo show Oct 16 at gallery Gategalleriet, by Press Play on Oct 22, 2015 12:20:47 GMT 1, Gategalleriet is pleased to present "Tiny People", an exhibition of works by Norwegian photographer, Øystein Dypedal. This will be be his first solo show featuring selected works from his macro-photography series Tiny People.

Dypedal experiments with focus and perspective to show us a tiny world with tiny people going about with their life. What seems small and insignificant for us is a world of joy, work and love for them. Using tiny figurines Dypedal shows us situations and surprises we are to busy to notice in our everyday life.

Dypedal started out as a wedding photographer but found more joy creating scenarios with figurines used for train modeling. As a skilled photographer he masters the art of macro photography and plays with depth and focus in a way that draws you into the image. His images got quickly popular when he released his series on Instagram.

The exhibition will be in view at gallery Gategalleriet, Bergen, Norway until December 1, 2015.
