I would imagine the provenance would be pretty tight. And who would fake a few phone numbers in a jotter pad? Perhaps it was for others to use? In his apartment or if he was out and about? If he just put "me", that wouldn't be much use. And perhaps he knew more than one Andy? There's a piece of card floating round my place that has my name and phone number on it (as well as others). That's not for my benefit, it's for anyone else that might need to call me. Babysitter, neighbour, housemate, burglar, etc.

If someone was going to fake something, it would be a shopping list or something like that. They're always cool.
