Don’t forget there’s a 12 month no resale agreement with these so it’s probably not that simple.

You could email them, explain your circumstances and ask for a refund. Asking them to ship to a different name and address is not a brilliant idea. At the least it can spark fraud concerns, at the worst they could assume you’re flipping and blacklist you.

Upon the purchase there is a non sale agreement for 12 months.
Im thinking of contacting the gallery for a refund- Just didn't want to be thinking one got buyers remorse.. Couldn't be further from the truth.
The print with the shipping was £840.. I would be just looking to recoup that..

Whatever price the eBay worldwide market and UAA decides is the value of this. 😁 Recent sales of his other prints at bonhams have been high. This is listed at a much lower price than the other NS prints on eBay, so who knows where it will end up. Clearly, I’m hoping for as much as possible! 😂

Quick word of warning OP, I don't see this on ebay.com or ebay.ca, only on ebay.co.uk. May be limiting your buyer pool.

Actually prive is correct in that this doesn’t appear to be visible on non ebay.co.uk domains. The one I found before is my Nick smith heaven print high which does show on eBay.com. I think the issue is because on the American gothic listing, on the postage drop down it defaulted to European Union and you have to change this to worldwide. I then assume that if you do this it shows on ebay.com? My Nick smith heaven has worldwide postage drop down selected and that shows in ebay.com and I can’t see any other differences between the two listings, so can only assume that’s the reason it can’t be seen on eBay.com. Sadly, as bids have now been placed I can’t amend the listing, but if anyone from outside Europe wants to bid they can do so via ebay.co.uk via the link above. On the basis grant wood’s American gothic is one of the most iconic American portrait images, it’s a bit of a missed opportunity on my behalf not to make this more visible to that side of the pond! Lesson learnt for the future and hopefully the forum members around the world will find via this thread. What a muppet I am! 😂

Yes, I saw I could do that, but I don’t think it’s fair on all the bidders. If there were just the one or two different bidders I may have considered this, but there have been quite a few. It was my mistake, so if it doesn’t get the complete worldwide audience then that’s my fault and I’ll learn the lesson for the future. 😁 Someone may well end up with a late bargain Christmas present 😂

Thanks very much. It’s basic manners really. A couple of the bids have been from users in the US and Canada, so this is being picked up even though they are probably freezing their t1ts off with this arctic air they have over North America at the moment 😁 stay safe everyone
