Sad part is ebay uk is full of more inflated prices then on US ebay. Gonna be tons of these things just sitting there. My buddy offered double the cost for the regular edition for his wife and was turned down LOL. Typical s**t show for releases.
I'd like to also publicaly ridicule any gallery that offers pre orders and does not monitor them which allows market manipulation. Dont tell me you cant monitor who you sold your pre sales too and now they are on ebay within minutes. These same people buying pre orders are ripping off the secondary market and the galleries are allowing it since it's determining the market. Always scandal intentions being supported. My 2 cents.
If anyone is selling one at cost our double price for regular edition, let me know. My buddy wants one for his wife for the holidays. I'm not a MW fan but trying to do a good deed. Thanks

i agree with most of what your saying but you not thinking about how many sales we have had and how we have to sort them out.
on every release we do we compile a spreadsheet with name, email and address against a number for records.
this is done from paypal and takes a while, i will have it finished by noon tomorrow.
obviously it annoys us as much as you, ebay just after release with the prints not even packed.
done a few refunds where it is obvious and tomorrow we will look again with the full list complied.
you can not for example in big cartel pull up all black sales on whatson and check ebay..
we are a small artisan print company with tiny costs thats why we can sell prints at the prices we do.
we 100% buy into that prints are for fans and should be priced accordingly always have, whatson and this image esp is bigger than he has ever been, interest was mental.
we kept pre orders at a minimum and kept as much as we could for online, but again you must understand we have genuine very good customers, which any business turning away would be mad..
hardest part of a release like this is the after mails ranging from lovely missed out ones where you feel sorry for them to right nasty ones calling us worse than shite.
can not win but trying our best...

On the pre-sale, offcours they should give there best costumers the chance to pre-order. Its becuse of them they are still alive.
On the flippers, I hope there is a way you can cancel the orders to all the ebay c**nts and give them to someone that will appriciate it.
Keep up the good work and Looking forward to your next release.

I also tried to buy a limited edition from both artist and I was not successful. But I am still thankful to at least be able to have bought two prints beforehand. keep up the great service and a happy thanksgiving from good ole germany.

Have bought quite a few prints in the past year off GP and the Dancer was the first pre-order I have ever requested and was very grateful for. Was happy to try my luck for a 1/1 Fencer but no joy on that and the chance of a main edition went with the delay in trying for the 1/1. It's disappointing when you don't succeed but to be honest a world wide market and massive demand for the most popular releases tends to suggest it will ultimately be tough to score! When successful I have always found the prints to be of great quality, packed well and the stickered tubes are always a great talking point with my postie! All I can say is good work GP, it's a tough call to please us all but from where I stand you are doing your best and I for one appreciate it. |

I waited till 3pm with friend at work, we both really wanted this and didn't even get a sniff?! Just release em willy nilly and dint bother with a date or time as you get people hopes up for no reason and we now have a v low opinion of GP and MW is tarnished by association..
