A quick look shows a 1kg 80x12x12 package will cost you £17 plus a tenner extra for every £500 worth of insurance you need. Unlike FlightLogistics insurance only covers loss, not damage, so bare that in mind by double tubing or tubing in a length of plastic pipe.

Nick, can you point to the insurance coverage? I always understood that when using these discount carriers you are subject to the restrictions and exclusions of the actual carrier DHL, UPS etc.

Probably a bit of a sweeping statement by me, best to check each carriers t&c's during purchase!
