He did a great job with the Dean Collection, making art more accessible and affordable.
The "no commission" was not bulls**t...Mix media Sheps were listed at $3200, they would have been easily listed here for $5k min. He really did cut out the gallery commissions.
Sandra's prints at $1,100 might seem a bit higher then usual, but there prints are massive and impressive. Details coming.
On top of that, mix it in with free posters, free alcohol, and a free party with performances by Alicia Keys (his wife), pusha-t, dmx, and himself.
anyways, onto the Sandra prints. I was not a fan of hers at all, I thought her stuff was just corny and gimmicks...but seeing her work in the flesh completely changed my mind... I grabbed both of her prints, and when I unrolled them I was blown away...
