not so poor anymore., by Michael Jacob on Mar 19, 2008 16:55:45 GMT 1, That really sucks James!
I heard they do that for tracking purposes. If you ever catch them, theyll say they sent it to you, and you signed for it. Then it comes down to who believes who. Crappy people out there!

not so poor anymore., by James Smith 77 on Mar 19, 2008 17:38:29 GMT 1, I ended up opening the tube in my building lobby on surveillance camera. The problem is that they won't release it without a court order. The sellers ebay name is OptimusPrim80. SO STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS F'ER...

not so poor anymore., by Heavyconsumer on Mar 21, 2008 22:49:20 GMT 1, for the record, I would never buy a Banksy on the bay. It's just become way too high profile an opportunity and way too profitable for scumbags to ignore! Just my opinion, but anyone buying such items is taking a huge risk. For me it's source or not at all, but if I could afford secondary market prices I'd much rather arrange a deal with someone respected from here or go to a gallery or auction house, who have some credability to lose (and insurance), before ebay. In fact it's well worth paying over the odds to a company imho, maybe just cause I'm not in the market!

not so poor anymore., by Heavyconsumer on Mar 22, 2008 4:11:22 GMT 1, should remember all the fees involved to ebay + paypal. That is significant for a £3.5k sale. + They haven't all been that price range in the last few days. One did actually go for £2750. None the less I agree, great deal for that price!!! This print will be very valuable in a couple of years, being that there were only 500 of this image in total, compared to Trolleys, with 1428 (I think) in the market.
