Donald Trump, by Coach on Dec 8, 2015 21:02:43 GMT 1, I thought he wouldn't be able to surprise me anymore, having heard some of his campaign comments. I was proved wrong today. Nothing else to add really.

Donald Trump, by Wearology on Dec 8, 2015 21:27:34 GMT 1, I will touch this topic with kid gloves as to not to offend anyone but to give our friends across the pond a bit of insight into the political climate in the US. Approximately 40% of Americans are considered Republicans and 40% of Americans are considered Democrats while 20% of Americans are considered Independents and belong to other various political parties such as the Green Party or Libertarian Party. Of the 40% who consider themselves Republicans approximately 20% of the 100% support Trump and he can say and do anything from now until the election and they will support him. The reality is that Trumps comments are what many people in America are actually thinking but are just too scared to say it publicly. A most recent poll shows that a majority of Americans (53%) support sending in ground troops to battle Isis even after all these years of war. My personal opinion is that America need a leader with more balls but we will save that for another day.

Donald Trump, by .dappy on Dec 8, 2015 21:41:51 GMT 1, ... it's OK - he has said that those Muslims soldiers and other military personnel that are currently fighting abroad in the army, navy or air force will be allowed back in ...
... they are obviously 'good' muslims in Trumps eyes ...

My personal opinion is that America need a leader with more balls but we will save that for another day. Well, they certainly have enough t**ts.
Figures according to Gallups latest survey. 54-60% vote, of these 43% independent, 30% Democrats, 26% Republican. Voter turnout in the United States is among the lowest in the developed world.
From US Census Total Population 318,857,056 Total number of Americans eligible to vote 218,959,000 Total number of Americans registered to vote 146,311,000 Total number of Americans who voted in the 2012 Presidential election 126,144,000 Percent of Americans who voted in the 2012 Presidential election 57.5 %
As for the "many people in America thinking how Trump does but are too scared to say". Do the maths. He has 25 to 30 percent of the vote in polls among the roughly 25% percent of Americans who identify as Republican. Thatโs something like 6 to maximum 8 percent of the electorate overall, or about the same share of people who think the Apollo moon landings were faked, or who believe that they arenโt the product of *evolution.
This is a lie, it's closer to 26%, the same ratio as Republican voters no less ;-)

Donald Trump, by Jeezuz Jones Snr on Dec 8, 2015 22:49:05 GMT 1, Hillary or Trump? I feel for the people If that's their only choices. One thing trump has going for him is he would not enter more unnecessary wars than needed. Hillary will keep going with wars as some people make money from them..The U.S. Has f**ked up the Middle East and now the whole world is paying for it through ISIS. America should sort the s**t out out they started.. As a country they need to help their own people also, it's gone down hill fast in so much debt. superpower no more, China and Russia already taking advantage over them.. The world is changing..

Donald Trump, by Matt on Dec 8, 2015 23:06:15 GMT 1, What surprises me is not that trump says what he says, or that he has a followership, but rather that the response from the smarter people in his party and in other parties is so cowardly nuanced so as not to definitely loose the chance of stealing a portion of his electorate.
Whatever the next president the US has, i wish that 1) he or she would just stay away from foreign affairs, because so far this has always with no exception proven to be an absolute clusterfuck.
2) Instead of saving face by pretending to restore some bogus image of grandeur the US no longer has for a variety of obvious geopolitical reasons, that he or she will lead by example and make the US a better place, for example by tackling racial and economic discrimination, helping citizens engage on a path where stop shooting each other all the time, moving to cleaner energy sources etc
I know I sound like a fucking hippy, but this Trump media masquerade just shows how out of hand all of this has become

Ha, nice bit of trolling, you nearly had us there with that combination of bigotry and racism but no one's that stupid, nice try though Sorry but you can't please everyone. You obviously think temporarily banning islamic countries from entering the US is a bad thing. I think its a temporary solution until something gets figured out on how to stop this religion from causing more deaths. I am not saying kick out the current muslims that are already in the US. I am not for forcing good people out of countries. I had this convo with a buddy earlier today. He went as far as stating that he would be afraid that "we" as a society would resort to concentration camps. We as human beings have come a long way since the days of WW2, where they forcefully took over Japanese peoples businesses and kicked them out because of pearl harbor. This particular problem isn't bigotry or racism when it comes to todays terorrists. Its called being "Sane". People that call it bigotry and racism are the same people who had never been affected by any type of terrorism. You would sing a different tune if these attacks happened to a family member or friend of yours. Better safe then sorry. Do you consider other countries that are considered "safe" racists also? Denmark, Canada etc. They don't allow certain religions into there country without worse inspections then the US has. Difference is the media doesnt plaster every single move they make on the tv in these countries like the US does.
I personally try not to discuss religion or politics since it always turns into a big argument. Everyone has there own opinions. To each there own.
