Donald Trump, by eye like on Nov 4, 2020 18:26:18 GMT 1, Trump's speech last night was truly a lowpoint for US democracy (if you can still call it that). The vote seems to be leaning slightly towards Biden right now with the mail-in ballots being heavily skewed to the Dems, but it's still extremely tight. We're certainly going to see a flood of lawsuits in the coming days. I can't see this being settled for a while yet.
Either way I find it mightily depressing that Trump polled more votes than in 2016. That's a pretty damning indictment of a large section of the American public's seeming indifference to the catalogue of shocking statements and decisions he's made over the past 4 years. Cult Trump seems to show no signs of abating.

Donald Trump, by brycepen on Nov 5, 2020 3:00:04 GMT 1, Iโm here to offer my informed opinion and anecdotal experience:
- No lines at my polling place the day of the election in a very diverse, liberal area (my neighborhood is partially gentrified, so itโs full of liberal whites, low income minorities, and a disproportionately high percentage of LGBTQ+ residents because of its proximity to most LGBTQ+ businesses/hangouts).
- I do not understand the long line for early voting weeks ago because no, itโs not hard to get a mail in ballot and you can always come back later.
- In my experience, there are in person polling sites within a mile of most people. (I walked to mine in five minutes).
- Nobody is voting for Trump for his personality. They are voting for his foreign and economic policies. They are voting for his work ethic and sincere effort to reach voters that are ignored or taken for granted by Democrats.
- Biden isnโt connecting to voters on any meaningful level. People arenโt voting for Biden; they are voting for โnot Trumpโ or the chance that he dies or becomes incapacitated so Kamala Harris takes over.
Personally, Iโm hoping for the latter. Sorry but not sorry

Donald Trump, by acaipride on Nov 5, 2020 3:17:56 GMT 1, ..."He explain that, while I was in gulag, US&A was ruin by an evil man who stood against all American values. His name? Barack Obama. This led to other Africans becoming political leaders. But then a miracle occurred. A magnificent new premier name McDonald Trump rose to power and made America great again. He also became buddies with tough-guy leaders across the world: Putin, Kim Jong-un, Bolsonaro and Kenneth West."

Donald Trump, by Pawel on Nov 5, 2020 13:12:03 GMT 1, I have to admit, I think Joe Biden was a very poor choice for democrat leader...as was Hilary Clinton. Why can't the democrats get their act together and pick someone half decent as their leader? Let's face it; anybody is better than Trump but...Joe Biden? Really? Same problem in Poland, opposition parties are useless here.

Donald Trump, by eye like on Nov 6, 2020 17:27:35 GMT 1, Trump wil never concede, his ego would never allow it.
Right now Biden could conceivably get to 305 electoral votes, which is the same number that Trump got in 2016. That would be immensely satisfying.
Interesting that Fox News journalists have been 'instructed' not to refer to Biden as President elect irrespective of how the results go. Everyone knows they are a mouthpiece for Trump but it's very dangerous (if not that surprising) for them to be trying to legitimise these electoral fraud conspiracy theories that Trump is spinning.
One thing which also hasn't had a lot of coverage this week is the fact that Kamala Harris will be the first ever woman in the White House, and a black woman at that. A very historic moment, and a hugely positive one that will undoubtedly make Trump the misogynist even angrier.

Donald Trump, by d.r. perseus on Nov 6, 2020 17:35:08 GMT 1, It's strange that Trump wants the counting to stop in those areas where he is winning...but wants the counting to continue where he still has a chance of beating Biden - the two-faced little sh*t.
Strange?
That sums up his presidency

She is actually of mixed race; African-American and Indian. Her mother is actually an Indian immigrant. Pretty cool
Fun fact: I actually predicted that she would end up in the White House back in 2016 after the Trump election, and everyone thought I was a nutter. To be fair, I didnโt expect it to happen this election cycle and my prediction was that she would eventually be President... still think that prediction might be right too.

Not true. I meant that I thought she would eventually make a successful presidential run, which I still hope she does. Iโm not thrilled to have Biden be president, but I donโt actually hope he dies. Only a very sick person would wish that. And I feel the same way about people who have similarly perverse thoughts about Trump.
