While the original design debuted over a dozen years ago, this roughly 14-inch tall polystone resin rendition took two years to sculpt to perfection. An extremely limited release, these 10+ pound pieces are on presale through the Japanese marketplace until January 10th, 2016 at 7am Pacific time through the CJ Mart online shop for ¥48000 (approx. $398) apiece. This statue is expected to ship late in May 2016.
Why is everyone so surprised, it's good enough for kaws(maybe not the best example as he's a glorified graphic designer) but deface and he's just rolled out the Beethoven bust and it's not his first rodeo either. English is a huge activist and he digs vinyl design. They are just inexpensive sculptures. Iamzero that's a 400%camo bathing ape or bape be@rbrick.
Within the toy collecting community I would say these will be revered as much as any kaws vinyl. I am however a little bias as I am awaiting both my flower Bomber and deface Beethoven, but going on spanky Stokes has stated all seems legit.

Anybody received theirs yet? Are they still available? Is there and edition size? Lots of questions regarding these, I think they actually look quite good and apparently they are quite substantial if they weight 10lbs.

would really appreciate if anyone else that bought one could post a few photos of the how the flower hand is attached here or PM please.
i'm wanting to confirm the quality of work with these, either it's not as high as i'd expected, or someone is trying to pull a fast one. regardless of the broken stem.

did you buy off a retailer or reseller? and did your package look like it was opened? I just checked mine and my stem seems fine.

I don't think you can buy from Medicom outside Japan. You'll have to find another store selling them.

The others were a 3D version of a Banksy stencil... but this is a direct reproduction of an existing Banksy artwork. Dodgy ground!

The suicide bomber was displayed during the Banksy vs Bristol museum in 2009 I think you can even see it in the trailer he released in YouTube.

It is damn expensive for a toy, but probably if I have an opportunity to acquire a Banksy in the future I will be able to sell this at least for the same amount or a little less, I hope it's resale price don't crash.
Anyway I will tell you how good or bad it is when I receive it. I bet the next one Brandalism and Medicom toys will release is the Ballerina resin sculpture. That one I think it was an edition of 6 from 2005, but right now the price is insane.
