So many better thing's to spend £5000 on..........you could get an original piece by any number of artist's for that money or a signed print by an established world wide known artist (other than Banksy) or even an original Picasso ceramic piece but hey it's your money....just saying, it's very easy to get caught up in all the fever but you do not come across as a novice so I am sure you know what your doing and what you want.

Have you considered buying a piece of art that you actually like? Scratching around to get a less than perfect, anything will do Banksy seems a bit desperate. I can understand the wish to own one, but after a while you may regret it if it's gash and not going to sit in pride of place on the wall.

I think you need to factor in the point that if there was a signed Banksy available for £5k, then pretty much everyone on here would want it, so this may be why the response is varied...who wouldn't buy a £5k signed Banksy if it was offered? (Unless it was like that claimed £33 million washed up lottery ticket).
