I am the original owner, so yes, it has been in a tube for 6 years. That being said, it was quite a thick tube and it wasn't rolled too tightly. I'd have to look up the gsm of the paper, but I can tell you that it didn't give me too much play when I took the photos.

Maybe not. One hasn't sold for ages, so it's hard to tell. I know that the market for Nick Walker has cooled off a bit, but this is still an iconic piece that has sold for around ยฃ4k in the past. As I said, I'm always open to offers ... and opinions.

I've personally never experienced either of these issues storing a print rolled for about a year. However, these will undoubtedly take a while to flatten out before they can be framed, especially if they were printed on thick stock.

I bought a Shepard Fairey print 3 years ago that was stored in a tube since 2008...Every time I flip to it's page in my portfolio it fights the sleeve to curl back into a roll. It's literally at the middle of a portfolio with the weight of 15 more prints and then another entire portfolio on top. The damn thing won't go flat! I'm sure a lot of factors have to be taken into account and the most obvious is the type of paper. With that being said I wish I could afford the Faile Flag! GLWTS |
