Paper, repair, by Deleted on Mar 21, 2016 4:28:45 GMT 1, Hate to hear that. I worked for about 7 years in LA studio of a conservator of works on paper.
Depending on the type of print and paper, if the crease is in the image or only the margin of the paper, etc., it can probably be pressed out and flattened under weights, with varying degrees of success. If framer will pay cost of treatment find a good paper conservator and bring it to them.
I will say that a huge amount of our work was fixing damage caused by framers. Sloppy handling of the work, like you surmise here, or overly-aggressive mounting (hot glue, heavy tapes, spray adhesives to board, drymounting and so on).
I don't know where you are, but I suggest you contact local museums, ask who they use to repair and conserve their artworks, and start there.
Best of luck working this out.

Depending where you are based, you can ship it to them and they will ship it back to you.
