Unsigned Banksy , by Number48 on Mar 13, 2016 9:26:22 GMT 1, Thanks for the advice -
Thought I might get a WSM for that money - I'd also very much consider a flags but the conditional issues on those pieces concern me and there seems to be some real pricing variations out there.
Thank you again

Unsigned Banksy , by met on Mar 13, 2016 12:57:49 GMT 1, I have a totally mint silver flags with COA. Flags and mint one rarely sees in the same sentence. My own experience is slightly different in that I see "Flags" and "mint" in the same sentence too often.
It may be down to one or more of the following reasons:
1. The interested buyer is unfamiliar with the fragility of the Chromolux paper used for this unsigned edition, or the fact it was originally sold during Santa's Ghetto 2006 pre-rolled and tubed — in my view too tightly for the paper, but in a manner arguably suitable for a £100 artwork.
[Compromise was also necessary given the logistical requirements of distributing 1000 prints quickly and efficiently to long queues waiting in the cold and blocking entrances to other shops, whether on London's Oxford Street or to a lesser degree on Bristol's Perry Road.]
2. The interested buyer and/or the seller does not have a proper understanding of the term "mint".
3. The seller doesn't physically possess the print or is being deceitful as to its true condition.
4. The interested buyer and/or the seller has not looked at the image closely enough to count the number of flags featured in it.

Well any inspection welcome, I studied it for a while and couldn't find fault with it.

Well any inspection welcome, I studied it for a while and couldn't find fault with it. If your copy of Flag genuinely looks like it just came off the printer's drying rack:
(i) crisp edges and corners;
(ii) not a single ding or minor rolling crease visible on either the front or back; and
(ii) not one scuff, scratch, smudge or fingerprint,
including when held up and examined in natural light, and especially with raking light — as every work on paper should be examined when determining its condition — then you are incredibly fortunate to have secured such a copy.

Unsigned Banksy , by Justdave on Mar 14, 2016 12:28:10 GMT 1, A WSM did sell at £2600 on eBay recently but was framed and framing looked a bit ropey. You'll be very luck to get one for £2500. Flags is all you will get unless you buy damaged.

I did also get some people offering to gazump the sale by paying more after the end of the auction which I obviously declined.
